My interest in ‘health’ and the interface of art, science and spirituality leads me to projects involving workshops and exhibitions with schools and community groups throughout the South West. These are intended to provide a forum for engaging with topical subjects such as dementia, depression/anxiety, mindfulness / meditation etc…

Bath MIND safe space group

Bath Mind ‘Safe space’ group expressed their artistic talents in this 5 metre long collaborative mural on the theme of ‘sub aqua’ by depicting a variety of sea creatures, Octonauts, treasure chests and of course a yellow submarine.

Currently working with Bath Mind and St. Johns Foundation leading Mindful Art Sessions.

2012Art Workshops at Cedar Care Homes for Nursing & Dementia, Bath
2011‘Where’s my Mind? ‘ Arts project around issue of Dementia. Sidcot Arts Centre and local primary schools, South Bristol.
2011‘Life, Death, Life’. Wellcome Trust funded Arts project around issue of Organ and Blood Donation. St. Gregory’s College and local schools in Bath area
2010‘The Art of Biology’. Drawing workshops exploring cells and viruses at Thornbury Castle School involving local primary schools
2009‘The Art of Biology’. Arts workshops on microbiology at Oasis Arts Academy, Bristol involving local primary schools
2009‘Reach for the Sky’. Wellcome Trust funded Arts Project around issue of Stem Cell Research at St. Gregory’s College, Bath involving local schools

2008-2018 Visiting Artist at Three Ways Special Needs School in Bath working in a therapeutic context with students with Autism, Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
